Contracture release by Half Z Plasty

This is case of post burns scar contracture of the elbow. To note is that the elbow is not fully covered by scar but half of it buried over and under normal skin of the volar aspect of the elbow. 

 Half Z Plasty

This is a common procedure done for split ear lobe of one side where the hole in the ear lobe is to be reduced in size by half Z plasty technique and not by excision of the hole in whole.
