Composite Graft Finger Tip Injury

Composite Graft 

Composite graft is nothing but defatted only epidermis and dermis - basically a full thickness Graft.

This is a case of Finger Tip Injury .Case picture showing Post Op Day 10 of the Healed composite wound picture.


Follow UP Protocol


The sutures placed were monocryl absorbable stitches.
                       Here continuous stitches were made.
                No need for dressing after post Op day 10 .
        Sutures need not be removed later on.
 Patient can was with soap and water


Final Outcome

The finger will mould by itself...
                          The nail usually grows by 100 days in full form..
        This shows that composite graft take is more in children than in adults...
