Bipedicle Flap For Knee Raw Area with Prosthesis

This case had a defect of size 10 ×5 cm with knee joint exposed.
Also note a midline incision over Anterior Aspect of Thigh.
With options Limited, plan was to cover the defect with fascio cutaneus Flap .
Bipedicle Flap was planned longitudinally.
Width of the flap 2y that of width of defect. Length 4x times the length of the defect.
Parallel incision made. Up to muscle fascia flap elevated.
Flap bleeding assessed. Usually primary closure of the donor is possible.
In this case planned for SSG. Dressing with pop done.
