Keloid
Keloid of ear lobe is the commenest area to occur.
Recurrence is also common . Women are most affected.
This picture shows the follow up after 6months.
Note for complication like skin thinning, necrosis , pale paper like skin .
Various methods available for treatment
Intralesional excison with steroid injection,
compression, silicone sheeting, radiotherapy, antichemotherapy drugs.
This patient had huge keloid -- compression with steroid - kenocort
i.e kenocort injection for 6 months.
We essentially have complete freedom to do anything we want, whenever we want, as adults. Most of us won't be detained for failing to show up for work, and no one will imprison us for having cake for breakfast. So why do we arrive at work then? We should have cake for morning, why not? The better question might be: How can we prevent ourselves from avoiding work when we don't feel like going? How can we avoid having cake for breakfast and opt for more nutritious fare instead? Self-control is the solution. Although it's a crucial skill, we typically perform it mindlessly.
