Tendo Achilles Repair With Turn Down Flap

TENDOACHILLES - DELAYED REPAIR


This is patient with history of acute injury 2 months back to his tendoachilles which was badly infected and dry. Only Debridement and Primary Skin Suturing was done.Later Planned for Delayed Reconstruction.







After Debridement Of the Wound Tendoachilles was measured and defect was 3cm.



Turn down flap was marked 


Incision made inbetween the proximal tendon and turned down


Suturing the harvested area primarly done with 3-0 prolene,



Distal end Anchored with 2-0 prolene over the remaning distal tendon.



Skin closed with 3-0 and a anterior slab applied.
